Hi, I’m Suzanne – the mom behind Rocking Chair Diaries.

I created this space (and the Captured Memories Planner) because, like so many moms, I found myself juggling all the things — school drop-offs, appointments, family schedules, and endless to-do lists. Life felt so busy that the little moments I wanted to remember most were getting lost in the chaos.

I’ve always loved planners, lists, and pretty paper, but I also wanted an easy way to capture my family’s story as it was happening. I didn’t have hours to scrapbook or the energy to make memory-keeping a “big project.” What I needed was something simple, beautiful, and meaningful… so I created it.

The Captured Memories Planner is more than just a planner. It’s a place where organization meets memory-keeping. It’s where schedules and to-dos live alongside printed photos, notes, and special keepsakes. It’s a way to slow down just enough to see the beauty in your family’s everyday life.

Every month, I send out a subscription box filled with printer paper, themed stickers, and fun supplies that make it easy (and fun!) to keep up with your planner. It’s a little box of encouragement, creativity, and joy — a monthly reminder to pause, reflect, and capture the moments that matter most.

At the end of the day, my hope is simple: that when you look back through your planner years from now, you’ll find yourself smiling, laughing, maybe even tearing up, because you took the time to write it down and print it out.
