What a Boomerang on the Roof Taught Me About Happiness
Share
Yesterday, my son got a new boomerang. Five throws in, it landed right on the roof.
Cue the meltdown. Big tears. Big feelings. You'd think we lost a puppy.
But after the initial drama (and a long hug), we came up with a plan. That plan? Me. In the tractor bucket. He stayed safely on the ground recording while I was lifted up to retrieve the boomerang like some kind of suburban stunt mom.
It was chaotic, a little ridiculous, and honestly, one of the best memories we made this weekend.
That's exactly why I created the Captured Memories Planning System.
Because I want to remember these moments. Not just the polished ones, but the real, messy, joy-filled stories that remind me what truly matters.
When I open my planner, I'm not just tracking tasks. I'm shifting my perspective. Away from the stress. Back to the joy.
That's how I live life as a 10 out of 10 on happiness. Not by accident, but by design. I focus on what makes me happy, and I make space to honor it.
Want to do the same? The Captured Memories System is her to help you document, reflect, and reconnect with the moments that make life beautiful.
Because life moves fast. But joy is worth slowing down for.
